1. Ride in (or watch) The Gateway Cup: a four-day cycling event in which professionals and amateurs will ride through a different St. Louis neighborhood each day: Lafayette Square, Francis Park, The Hill, and Benton Park; Sept 1-4; entrance fee varies

2. Art Fairs:

   1. Art Fair at Queeny Park: Sept 1-3 enjoy a fine art and craft show at Queeny Park; $10 entry fee

   2. Schlafly Art Outside Festival: Sept 8-10 at Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood; free to attend, beer and food available for purchase

   3. Saint Louis Art Fair: Sept 8-10 along with browsing fine art, enjoy live music in downtown Clayton; free to attend, food and drinks available for purchase

5. Shakespeare in the Streets: Soccer in St. Louis: head to Olive Street Sept 14-16 to experience an adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Henriad, written by Ben Hochman, that celebrates the force of soccer in uniting the region and world; free to attend
